Introducing Shelly
Shelly Fitzgerald, DipWSET, CS, CSW, AWE, Cava Expert, Wine Educator, Consultant, and Sommelier.
Vastly knowledgeable about wine regions and varietals, Shelly is always welcoming and approachable. Wine studies and tastings should be fun – you’ll never find any boasting or shaming when touring or tasting with her. She meets you where you are on your wine journey and takes you to new places to explore and enjoy.
While living in the UK with her young family, Shelly was struck by the easy availability of both everyday and unusual French, Spanish, and Italian wines. Unable to procure a work permit, she started volunteering at wine events to meet the people behind the bottles and to educate herself.
Wine is for

Before becoming a wine professional, Shelly was a personal trainer. Making the leap from personal training to wine consulting isn’t as unusual you might think. For both you must establish strong relationships built on trust and confidence. Shelly’s strength lies in creating that space. She wants you to feel comfortable, confident, and accomplished when learning about and enjoying wine.
Named as “one of the Washington state’s most approachable wine educators” by Washington Tasting Room Magazine, Shelly also served as a wine judge for numerous competitions and is a member of The Wine Panel.
